Parker Palmer tells a story about a surgeon being trained to tie-off a blood vessel at a precarious point in an operation.  His mentor said, "You have just 30 seconds to do this part of the procedure...or your patient will die.  In that case, you had better take your time."

We approach our clients' challenges in this way.  What our clients do is important, critical, and too often under great stress and time limits.  So we take our time to get it right the first time.  In so doing, we produce more lasting and viable results.
